David Lynch Gets Creepy With New Electro Pop Release!

Be forewarned before listening: you WILL have nightmares.
Last we heard about David Lynch's adventures in electronic pop, he had teamed up with Karen O and recording engineer Dean Hurley for his first solo album Crazy Clown Time.
Now, the first single, which is also called Crazy Clown Time (above) has been released, and IT IS CREEPY!
The [...]

Remember that guy who said he understood Adolf Hitler and sympathized with him? Lars Von Trier?

If not, let's recap. During the Cannes Film Festival last May, director Lars Von Trier taught everyone a huge lesson in having a social filter.

You can watch what happened right here if you'd like to refresh your memory. If only for the priceless look on Kirsten Dunst's face...

Now, fast forward through a hundred apologies later, and we have him announcing his withdrawal from interviews and any sort of public speaking from this point onward.

Apparently he was questioned by Danish police, and that was all he needed to convince himself of what we've all known since the debacle -- the man needs to shut the hell up!

It's one thing to comment on public figures in a public forum, but to say such offensive things dealing with a time so scarred in the world's history like the holocaust, well, that's just not cute!

Starting Out: 7 Things to Consider Before Taking Up the Piano

Song writing is a craft beset with cliches. Whether this is due to the fact that the English language isn't quite as suited to rhyming as others (although, anyone whose seen the Eurovision song contest might have something to say about the musical suitability of a whole host of tongues), or if it's just because people are lazy is the matter of much debate. Either way, hearing lines like "baby, I need you/ you make me fly/ so high/ in the sky" gets extremely tedious. On the other hand, when wordsmiths over step themselves in the search for originality, the results can be equally disastrous and wonderful.

Need A Job? Scream 5 Needs A Writer!

With everything that Kevin Williamson is up to these days, we're not surprised at all that they'd need a new writer!
Last we heard about Scream 5, Wes Craven announced that he'd be taking the summer off, BUT he had previously assured us that the movie would definitely be happening…eventually.
During a recent interview, Wes opened up [...]

Designed to awaken members' super powers, the Church of Scientology is putting their finishing touches on the The Super Power Building.

This will be the place to go if you want to enhance any of your 57 perceptics (powers that scientologists claim to possess).

A spokesman for the Church states:

[Super Power training is] a series of spiritual counseling processes designed to give a person back his own viewpoint, increase his perception, exercise his power of choice, and greatly enhance other spiritual abilities.

Created within the mind of founder L. Ron Hubbard himself, he claimed this energy mecca would:

...put scientologists into a new realm of ability enabling them to create the new world. It puts the world clearing within reach in the future.

Yeah, whatever that means...

The Super Power Building has cost $90 million to make. The futuristic castle of gyms boasts 889 rooms, NASA-esque training equipment, 42 bathrooms, a dining room that seats 1,140, and an outdoor terrace that would put even the Titanic to shame.

So we guess we'll be seeing Tom Cruise in the sky soon enough, huh? HA!

OH! Bee tee dub! This thing is in Florida!

WTF!?! How much will the Hollywood followers have to fly back and forth til they become superheroes???

Star Magazine Claims That Demi Moore Ashton Kutcher Are Dunzo!

According to the new issue of Star magazine, presumed happily-marrieds Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore are headed for a multimillion dollar divorce due to Ashton‘s cheating. Last night David and I made our way to downtown LA to attend a theatrical performance by our friend Josh Z. and the rest of his troupe in Flash Theater LA. Flash Theater LA presents live theater in a spontaneous way and in random places. Last night’s performance took place right in the middle of downtown LA … and it was a very cool performance. Click below to check out some photos that I snapped last night.

The performance featured 4 different sets of performers all acting out the same short play in 4 parts of the same street. I had my doubts, to be honest, that “flash mob theater” would be good … but it was good. Better than good, actually. The story of a couple in love told in reverse was very clever and the acting was superb … despite the fact that my friend JZ was in it ;) We had a blast!

Tonight, I’m heading down to Anaheim, CA to see Bush in concert. I picked up a ticket a few weeks ago and, well, the time has come. I haven’t seen Bush in concert since I saw them in Oklahoma City, OK back in 1997 when they toured with Veruca Salt. It was the last concert I saw in OKC before I moved back home to Michigan after college. It’ll be good to see the guys live again … I hope. Happy Wednesday!!
